4.2 Number of clusters

When you select the K-means algorithm, you are required to configure the number of clusters that you know are to be found. (See Figure 4.4 .)

Note: choosing an inappropiate K can yield poor results. If you do not have any initial idea of how many clusters your data may contain, it is better to use G-means.
