6.3 Separator

The separator is the symbol that is used to separate each field within a CSV file. The default symbol is a comma (’,’) but you can choose one of the following ones or even input your own separator.

• semicolon (’;’)

• tab (’\t’)

• space (’ ’)

• pipe (’|’)
